Job Summary

Cheder Menachem of Mount Pleasant, located at the heart of a thriving 70-acre farm, is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Fundraiser to support our growth. Guided by the Rebbe’s directives to Kfar Chabad, we combine proper Torah learning with the practical advantages of Beit Sefer L’Malacha (craftsmanship and machine work) and Beit Sefer Chaklai (farming). In this critical role, you will create and execute effective fundraising strategies to secure the financial resources that ensure the sustainability and success of our unique programs. Your efforts will directly impact the Cheder’s ability to provide quality education and meaningful community engagement opportunities. This position offers flexibility—you do not need to be located on-site at the Cheder. Whether you’re transitioning out of Kollel into Chinuch and Shlichus or looking for a meaningful full- or part-time opportunity, we invite you to join us in building a brighter future.

 

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to achieve financial goals.

•⁠ ⁠Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, community leaders, and local businesses.

•⁠ ⁠Plan and manage fundraising events, both in-person and virtual.

•⁠ ⁠Research and pursue grant opportunities, preparing detailed and compelling applications.

•⁠ ⁠Collaborate with staff to create engaging promotional materials for fundraising campaigns.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain accurate records of donor communications and contributions in a donor management system. •⁠ ⁠Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to the leadership team.

•⁠ ⁠Act as a representative of the Cheder in the community, promoting its mission and values.

 

Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field.

•⁠ ⁠Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and engage donors.

•⁠ ⁠Creative problem-solver with a passion for chinuch and community building.

•⁠ ⁠Familiarity with Chinuch al pi taharas hakodesh and the Rebbe's directives.
